Founder and CEO of Imagine Family Recovery LLC compassionately guides families who are tortured by grief and/or the substance use of a loved one, to a healing space within their own individual journeys. Don is a bereavement and recovery-focused coaching professional who has been facilitating individual and group support for over 10 years. He founded Imagine Family Recovery in 2020 after extensive research and education from BALM® (Be A Loving Mirror). He received his certifications through BALM® Family Recovery Resources and the International Coaching Federation. Don lost his oldest child, Petty Officer 2nd Class Joshua Lipstein USN (23) to suicide in 2011 after he suffered from substance use for many years. He empowers families to find the path that leads them to their own recovery and frees them from the pain that addiction and grief inevitably inflict. He imagines a day when families no longer have a need for the services he provides.
